How we work

  1. 1

    Goal & baseline

We start with the owner's actual goal — code, LEED, a utility rebate, a net-zero pledge — and benchmark current performance with utility data or a calibrated model.

  2. 2

    Model & analyze

Whole-building energy modeling in approved software, with sensitivity analysis on the levers that matter: envelope, HVAC, lighting, and operating schedules.

  3. 3

    ECMs & payback

Prioritized energy conservation measures with first-cost, energy savings, and simple-payback ranges — so the owner can pick what actually pencils.

  4. 4

    Documentation & incentives

Compliance reports, LEED templates, and utility rebate packages prepared and submitted — we handle the paperwork, not just the analysis.

Frequently asked

Which energy code paths do you use?
Prescriptive, performance, and total-building performance under IECC and ASHRAE 90.1; Title 24 when the project is in California.
Can you do LEED documentation?
Yes — energy and atmosphere credits, including EAp2, EAc1, and supporting documentation for the project's LEED reviewer.
Do you pursue utility rebates for us?
Yes. We identify applicable programs, prepare the application package, and coordinate with the utility's program administrator through approval.
